Anonymous asked: Hey can you draw normal
I’ve been pretty productively lately and it feels great! I’m gonna be on standby for just a bit, but as soon as I get the chance I’m jumpin’ right back to crankin’ out more art. I wanna keep this momentum up as best as I can!
Hey, everyone! This here’s a quick-and-dirty guide to the basic tools necessary to get started in SketchUp.
SketchUp is handy mostly for creating rooms and environments in a very short amount of time, and it does so by simplifying the toolset a great deal compared to high end modeling programs like Maya, 3DSMax, and Blender.
It comes with its own peculiarities, however, which I’ll try to point out as I go.
By the end of this, you should be able to have the knowledge necessary to make any basic room or house in a reasonably short amount of time for whatever your needs may be. It should take you anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour to get through this one, provided I did my job reasonably well.
The thought of actually doing this spooks the hell out of me, BUT it’s a useful tool!
